Fil 40 Term Paper

Conducting Thorough Research Is One of Our Specialties!

Our example term paper tutors systematically undertake creative, painstaking research in order to increase the breadth and intellectual viability of every order that we complete.  We use the term paper research process to establish or vet facts, confirm or expand upon the findings/results of previous research studies or work in the field, devise solutions to existing or new problems, support or reject theorems, test the validity of procedures/instruments/experiments, develop unique theories, etc.  Our research services also help to develop students' knowledge in particular areas/fields, preparing and better equipping them to complete their own research assignments with confidence and ultimately secure promising careers.  We pursue several principal objectives:  solid documentation, discovery, interpretation, and the development (i.e., R&D) of systems and methods for advancing and awakening students' knowledge.  Technological, scientific, life, humanities, practitioner, artistic, marketing, economic, business, and social are merely a few of the forms of research that our term paper tutors employ during any given day.

Teaching semester

Autumn and spring

Objectives and Content

Students will write a research paper in groups of 3 to 4, submitting one paper per group. A choice of themes that reflect the current research interests of supervisors will be provided. Students may suggest other themes within cognitive psychology, but this is dependent on approval from the course tutor and on availability of supervisors. Students will gain experience in research methodology by conducting either empirical work that may involve data collection and/or analysis, or theoretical literature-based research. The goal is to expose students to contemporary research in cognitive psychology and train skills in scientific authorship within a cognitive area. It is sometimes possible for students to work as a scientific assistant in lieu of writing a full paper, but such work can only give pass/fail course credit rather than a grade.

Learning Outcomes

By the completion of the course the student will have knowledge of:

  • The basic methodological design used in studies of cognition.

By the completion of the course the student will be able to:

  • Evaluate the experimental design, method and conclusion in research articles which test cognitive theories.
  • Conduct an empirical, theoretical or literature-based study, and write a paper in APA format, on a research question within cognitive psychology.
